Visions Adolescent Treatment Centers embody a quiet and supportive environment. Tucked away in the hills of Malibu, they offer 25 acres of land nestled in the utmost privacy and comfort.  They have two residential homes: Latigo, a Mediterranean Style home, and Mulholland, their original facility. Both residences offer a comfortable home-like setting and a safe and rural surrounding that is inaccessible to the public. The facilities are gated and hidden thus discouraging runaways. Their staff is supportive and the ambiance sets the tone for a healthy, rigorous atmosphere.

This adolescent program is for teens 13 to 18 years old, both male and female.  Their average length of stay is 45 to 90 days.  They have WASC Accreditation (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) with a transferable accredited curriculum.  Their school has a 3 to 1 student to staff ratio providing a safe learning environment to meet the individual needs of students who are unable to function in a mainstream environment due to mental health issues, emotional traumas, or addictive and behavioral problems.  Their program can and will significantly raise the level of an adolescent’s confidence and strengthen his or her sense of self.  Their goal is to make academic learning a positive stepping stone and contribute to the foundation of your child’s future.  Visions offers a full spectrum approach to education with services from remedial to honors level.

Visions has Outpatient Programs that range from intensive to an introductory program.  Both programs also help families and teens reintegrate into everyday life after long term treatment. In both cases, Vision’s staff supports parents by walking them through the reality of their teen’s new lifestyle and often times help them to understand what the next step might be.

NeXt is California’s 1st Licensed Adolescent Extended Care Facility.  It has a day school, outpatient counseling and separate sleeping quarters for male and female residents, which is well supervised by staff both by day and night.
